While compact cameras like the RICOH Theta are self-supporting, they are prone to tipping over.
A thin, simple stand is useful in such instances.
Despite its thinness, it flexes sufficiently to counteract tipping forces.
The resin inch screw might seem structurally weak, but so far, none have broken.
Nevertheless, use at your own risk (it should be removed during transport).
