Description

Sewing weights that hold the sewing pattern in place on the fabric, making tracing or cutting easier.

You won’t need to pin the pattern to the fabric anymore. Each weight is approximately 170g, providing perfect grip for your sewing pattern. They are stackable, allowing you to double the weight if needed.

To achieve the desired weight, pause the print and insert three washers. Alternatively, you can fill it with sand.

Weight variations based on washer size:

  • 55mm x 20mm x 3.5mm
  • DIN 9021 (M18): 56mm x 20mm x 4mm
  • USS 7/8”

Contents:

Four weights with different phrases alluding to the world of sewing. Two different profiles in two languages: Spanish and English.

  • Sewing Happiness.
  • Sewing is My Superpower.
  • I Thread, Therefore I Am.
  • Sewing: Art and Patience.

A customizable version with no text for easy personalization in the slicer.

A box with a lid for easy transport and storage.

Required Items:

12 M18 Washers: 55mm x 20mm x 3.5mm.

A truly exquisite design My wife is thrilled However, sourcing such washers presents a challenge Either the inner diameter is too small or the washer is too thick I have to press multiple times to fit three washers

Hello, I bought them at my trusted hardware store, and they told me they were standard sizes. If you let me know the exact measurements of yours, I can design another version without any problem.Best regards.

Hello! I'm not the person who posted the original question, but I'm a bit confused by the dimensions of the washer you posted. Every M18 washer I have seen all are 34mm outer diameter and 18-19mm inner (since metric makes sense so m18 for 18mm bolt). 55mm isn't a standard metric (M) size for a washer, the closest I could find for outer was M27, 56/28/4mm form A. I'm wondering if you purchased an imperial uss or sae washer and the store only had the measurements listed in metric? Like a 3/4 uss imperial washer is 13/16 inner 2 outer, so 20~mm inner and 50~ outer, but 7/8 is 15/16 inner 2-1/4 outer is 23.8mm/56mm. Everything I have found is not lining up with the size provided. Even in Canada it would likely be easier to find imperial flat washers like the ones noted. The largest size metric washer I could find stocked where I live is size 12. Would you please be so kind as to provide files to use the 7/8" bolt size? I believe this is the closest to your existing file size. Whichever is easiest for you. If not then I will just figure something out with glue or sand to deal with the rattle and having to use fewer to make things fit. I truly love these weights and I can't wait to make them. They will make me sew very happy! 😊 truly fantastic work!

Thank you for your message! I'm sorry I'm unable to reply to it, something about my level being too low? Bolt Size: 7/8 -Inch Thickness: 5/32 -Inch Inside Diameter: 15/16 -Inch Outside Diameter: 2-1/4 -Inch Washer Type: Flat Finish: Zinc Plated https://www.homedepot.ca/product/paulin-7-8-inch-plain-steel-washers-zinc-plated-1pc/1000131532 The dimensions you included in your message are accurate to a 7/8 washer, I believe! The sizes provided here are the specific part I will be purchasing ❤ Again I apologize that I wasn't able to reply privately.

I couldn’t get the supports off normal or tree tried both

The support material must be different from that of the piece. The piece is printed in PLA and the support is PETG. If you use the same one it will be impossible since the distance in Z is 0.

I agree. Supports won’t come off without damaging the print.

I will print the supports with PETG next time and hope for improvement

If you cut the model in the laminator (BambuStudio) you can see that the outer diameter is 56mm and the inner diameter is 19mm. I don't understand what the problem could be!

When I open the M18 files directly in Bambu Studio, it doesn't work for me My M18 discs don't fit However, if I download the files and open them individually in Bambu Studio, they have the correct dimensions and my discs fit

Despite the correct washer, it doesn't fit because the hot end always hits the washer

The issue is that the washer dimensions are not very precise My advice is to experiment slightly with the vertical expansion in your slicer; a 02 mm adjustment should resolve the problem
