Description
A detailed model of Kufstein Castle.
Kufstein Fortress is an imposing medieval castle in the Tyrolean town of Kufstein of the same name, Austria. It was built in the 13th century and sits enthroned on a hill above the Inn Valley. The fortress has played a significant role in history, including as a strategic defense structure and as a prison. Particularly well-known is the ,,Heldenorgel`` , a large organ in one of the round towers.
