[Introduction]
A gearbox meant to work with the 030 Micro DC Motor and Reduction Gear sets sold in the Maker's Supply store.
(As of writing this). There wasn't much information given on the Reduction Gears sets sold in the Maker's supply store. It eventually came light to me, and I wanted to provide a gearbox model that could function stand alone, or as guidance for others that want to incorporate these gear sets into their own designs. In the raw files, I've included a step file for this purpose, specifically. So it can be modified or dimensions can be easily taken off of it, for your own project.
Any of the reduction gear sets they sell will fit, as they retain the same distance between the two stacks of gears.
The gear sets work with both the 030 Micro DC Motor AND the Motor they sell in the yellow casing! Pretty cool, so with the yellow casing motor you can change the torque/speed. Neat, huh?

[Hardware & Filament]
Featured Filaments:
Hardware:
- 030 Micro DC Motor
- Single-axis Plastic Reduction Gear Kit
- M3 Screws for mounting
[Assembly]
Refer to the image for assembly/gear placement. It's pretty straight forward. There's two metal dowels that come with the gear set, which will slot into post in the casing. The gears stack on top of each other, with the smallest gear going on the motor. The top of the casing screws on with the 3 m2.5 screws included with the gear reduction kit. The tabs on the case are sized for m3 screws.
