Description

This tripod phone holder is designed to fit any standard tripod, making it perfect for capturing photos and videos in both landscape and portrait orientations. The assembly is simple, with only two non-printed parts required: two 1/4-20 nuts (1/4" diameter and 20 threads per inch). These nuts allow for secure mounting either vertically (for landscape capture) or horizontally (for portrait capture).

 


 

Assembly Instructions: To integrate the nuts, you will need to pause your print at specific layers. For example, with a layer height of 0.2mm, pause the print at layer 33 to insert the first nut in its designated slot, then continue printing. Pause again at layer 307 to insert the second nut, and then finish the print. The pads can be glued into the recessed sections of the sliders for a secure fit.

 

Print Settings:

Sliders, Screw, and Clip:

  • Material: PLA
  • Layer height: 0.2mm
  • Wall loops: 2
  • Infill: 15%
  • Infill pattern: Gyroid

 

Pads:

  • Material: TPU
  • Layer height: 0.2mm
  • Wall loops: 2

 

This design requires no support for any of the parts, though it is recommended to use a brim if printing the screw vertically for better bed adhesion.

If you want to enhance the strength and durability of the parts, consider increasing the infill percentage and using PETG as your material.

The design is excellent, though the profile—I'm unsure if it's a printing location issue or a difference in filament used. It is Bambu filament, but… I experienced minor adhesion failures. Additionally, the screw and pads are missing. Including them would be a thoughtful addition for completion. Of all the designs I've seen, I really liked this one. The two pieces fit and align well even without the screw. The screw, however, provides significantly enhanced security. Best regards

had to modify for a different carriage only because of material change. Works great with the track

I modified the bottom to fit my golf cart, thank you it holds perfectly very beautiful work, I printed in PETG and it worked wonders
