The Eagle Transporter, or simply Eagle, is a fictional spacecraft featured in the 1970s British science fiction television series Space: 1999. Eagles serve as the primary spacecraft of Moonbase Alpha, which possesses a fleet, and are frequently utilized for exploring alien planets, defending the Base from attacks, and transporting supplies and other objects to and from the Moon. The Eagle's design is attributed to Brian Johnson, a collaborator with Gerry Anderson on Thunderbirds in the mid-1960s, who also contributed spacecraft designs to the 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey.[1] The Eagle's design has influenced spacecraft depicted in Star Wars and other science fiction television series and films.[2]

Oh my, with my birthday coming up, I am transported to times past, the 70s, 3 channels, no MTV, star trek, blakes 7 AND SPACE 1999, a sit com focused on Y2K as it turned out. This model is special and now part of my brothers birthday in December thanks.

How did you made it on A1 mini? Here the first Modul does not fit on the Plate!

Yes, I had to cut some of the longer rails into shorter sections for printing on the A1 mini. But when they glued together, you can’t even tell.

Gotta slice it up in the slicer, print smaller parts and glue it together.

Definitely the most frustrating and challenging 3D print/assembly model I've done to-date. 2.5 days to print all parts successfully including having to split some off to separate plates just to get a successful parts print then another 5+ hours of removing support material. However, a decent looking model at the end of it. Always loved Space 1999

Black is Beautiful ;-) I have a A1 mini and had to cut the upper rail in half so that it would fit on the print bed.

Great Model. Had some issues with the Plate 1, main body truss. adhesion issues, but when i flipped it upside down, no problems. I would recommend not to print the color parts with the cockpit. Use acrylic paint and save 6 hours and lots of filament. Engines and nozzles came out very good and minimal filament loss. I printed them without the Prime block. Super.
