Description

For my fully modded ALP, I wanted to have easy access to the front of the pinball machine in order to access my buttons for controlling ROMs, similar to how you would on a real pin.

This looks great and is easy to install, just remove the existing coin door plate, print this, superglue the hinge onto the two pieces, and press-fit into the existing coin door hole! The “key” on this comes from the plastic part from the original coin door, you can remove that and place into the new plate on the hole on the front.

This also has holes to press-fit 10 small magnets to give the coin door a bit more of a snap to close/open - any 6mm diameter / 2mm thickness magnets work.

For printing, for best results print the hinge vertically, as I've found that the print-in-place hinge doesn't loosen up if you print horizontally.

update to my last comment. I got it to print and work by using detect thin walls, a brim and .16 layer height

Thank you for creating this! I was able to print everything but the hinge. Can you provide customizable file format so I can incorporate a metal hinge? I also need to make the posts thicker because they are not snug.
