Description
Bambu Lab AMS Drying Box, material-saving and space-efficient, with built-in clips, no need to remove the spool to replace the box. After researching existing desiccant boxes, I found that due to space constraints in the AMS, using one box per slot results in low space utilization. Also, the spool needs to be removed for access, so I uploaded this desiccant box, allowing two boxes per slot. Both PLA and PETG materials have been tested for brothers and sisters, and the clip tightness is suitable. Simple, suitable for pragmatists, and its use is not limited to the AMS. The advantages of this desiccant box are:
- Material-saving, a single box weighs less than 20g;
- High space utilization, the space can be almost 100% utilized by placing two desiccant boxes;
- Built-in clips, no need to worry about the desiccant falling out;
- Replacement does not require spool removal;
- The bottom plate is without holes, so there is no worry about desiccant powder entering the AMS;
- The file contains two boxes, please copy and arrange them for printing as needed. To fill all 3 AMS slots, 6 boxes need to be printed.
- It can also be used as a general desiccant box, and can be used in other places that need to be dried.
Potential issues:
It requires two fingers to pull the box backward from both sides before it can be removed. However, this is not a major issue, as who changes desiccants every day?
