1973 Beetle Heater controls Light bracket

I have a 73 Beetle it has a light hanging under the dash, what is it for? Well seems it's to light the heater controls and the mount is unobtanium it seems as it's a one year only part. So fair warning I suck at designing stuff, but here is my version using the pic of the original as a guide. I added a hood as well 3D printing a lens and gasket is beyond me. The bulb holder press fits in place.

If anyone has the unobtanium mount and can take more pics and measurements I'll be glad to give it a go at a better repro.
