This part is designed to work with the MG 996R servo motor, providing a stable mounting solution that allows the servo's rotation axis to extend through the opposite side of the housing. It includes an integrated support boss on the reverse side, which enhances stability for connected joints and minimizes unwanted play during movement.
Features:
- A support boss opposite the mounting face, designed to stabilize any shaft or joint connected to the servo, preventing excessive lateral movement.
- Mounting holes that align with the MG996R servo, allowing secure attachment with the original screws. Just swap out the old servo bottom housing.
Print recommendations:
- Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS for added durability.
- Infill: 20% recommended.
- Supports: Needed (Only minimal though)
Additional notes:
- Compatible specifically with MG996R servo motors.
- The printed part itself remains stationary; only the servos shaft rotates.
