4.5"/6.5" Square Cutting Template

Square template for fabric cutting.

Print at 100% to ensure:

• Outer edge measures 6.5" x 6.5" (16.5cm x 16.5cm).
• Inner edge measures 4.5" x 4.5"in (11.4cm x 11.4cm).

The additional ½ inch allows for a ¼ inch seam allowance on all sides of the square. ¼ inch is standard for many square quilting patterns.

The purpose of the interior corner cuts is to allow the cutting instrument (e.g. rotary cutter) to go all the way to the 4.5" measurement without having to move the guide.
