Description

Portafilter Hanger for the Breville Barista Express (54mm)

I designed specifically for the Barista Express but it should work for other Breville machines

The fillets aren't a perfect match, but it's close enough to work great and not bad enough to make me want to redesign and reprint. With that said, I included the f3d file - feel free to remix!

I printed in PETG for heat resistance but I imagine PLA would work fine as well

I printed on it's side with support for the overhanging section

Printed out of PETG-HF and it worked although slightly bubbly. Looks like a filament issue, wouldn’t fault PLA profile for this.

Is the bubbly side where the supports were connected? I didn't spend any time fine-tuning the support settings, just went with default and it was good enough on my end not to tune and reprint. Could also just be wet filament though. I imagine most people already know about this but I just discovered the magic of using PLA for support on a PETG print or vice versa. Total game changer if you have an AMS!

It's more like between the spots where supports connect. According to the forums there seems to be an issue with profiles for HF — they don't do so well even on short overhangs and bridges.

Printed in just over an hour using settings as-is on my P1S, in basic black Bambu Lab PLA. I don't expect any issues with the heat levels on the machine using PLA either but if anything crops up I'll add a new comment. Exactly what I was after!

I like it a lot, except for the bit how it attaches to the machine I would really appreciate tighter fit. Printed in translucent gray petg, ended up with really nice texture. Will upload profile for this.
