Summary
In honor of Veterans Day, this is the legendary M4 Sherman's 75 mm round in all of its life-size glory. I've taken steps to reduce the amount of filament and print time required for such a large piece. The entire thing can be printed using only 600g of filament in total and is still very sturdy.
This shell was used by allied forces in WWII with the famous M4 Sherman and I think it was used for the M3 Grant and Lee tanks as well. This shell would have been fired from Shermans through the war from North Africa, to Italy, to Normandy after D-Day, and straight on to Berlin.
This model is very easy to put together, just snap a few pieces together with the provided pegs and that's it, no glue is required! I tested this thuroughly and included the peg that I think will work best, however, if for some reason you find the pegs too loose, I've included an extra plate with tighter pegs.
Bambu Filaments recommended are:
- Iron Metal Black or Matte Dark Green for the “bullet” base
- Silk Silver and Silk Gold for the fuse at the top of the “bullet”
- Overture Silk Gold (Amazon link)
- Overture Silk Copper (Amazon link)

If you enjoy my work and would like to help support my ability to share more (and even better) models in the future, please consider boosting or buying me a coffee at the link below. Your support is what helps me have enough filament and supplies to do all the print testing required for my models to be high quality and easy to assemble. It takes a mountain of test prints for each model. Thanks :-)
