Description

Here is my newly designed vase, inspired by stacked stone or rock balancing art. No glue is required for assembly.

  • Each stone (except the top one) has a sequence number embossed on the top left surface, so you can easily assemble them in order, from bottom to top.
  • Due to the shape, tree supports are unavoidable. I used pliers to remove them. While the overhang surface isn't ideal, the stone-like design makes the final result look surprisingly realistic!
  • For the inner tube, support not needed but be sure to use a brim as it is quite long.
  • You can scale it to smaller piece if you like.

I painted the vase using a grey base mixed with either white or black to achieve a natural stone appearance. It's very easy to create a stone-like finish with this method.
