Ramlethal Sword // Guilty Gear Strive
Print Profile(1)

Description
This replica of Ramlethal Valentine's sword from Guilty Gear Strive is the first model I ever made on 3D modeling software. Despite being made over 2 years ago, I've only decided to put it up for people to print now because I finally was able to print it in multiple colors. The picture of the three swords has the first one I ever printed (top), my old keychain (middle), and my new keychain (bottom). While the first two were completely hand painted, the third uses black, white, and green PLA for a nicer finish. Its small, and it's not perfect, but this model holds a special place in my heart.
Included in the profile are four different ways to print the sword. If you want to print it as one piece, it is HIGHLY recommended that you use support filament. I cannot stress how much of a difference it makes for the quality. Since almost the entire top part is supported, the support filament really works wonders in providing a clean finish. If you don't own any of this, (I don't blame you its super expensive), I recommend printing the split body and gluing it together separately.
If you want to print the keychain, there is a model ready with a hole at the tip for a chain to be squeezed in. Notice how this one has a bit of white filament overflowing where the hilt meets the handle. while I was testing, I noticed the handle snapped off very easy due to the different colored filaments not connecting well, so I painted on this small nub to ensure its strength. On my own keychain, I've noticed this has helped a ton, and the handle hasn't snapped at all in over four months of use. The color is white to allow easy coverup with some black paint.
I recommend using the printing preset I made. It will help ensure the best results.
I have never printed the model with all five colors as I only have one AMS unit. Typically, I paint the red and gold separately. If you do happen to print in all five colors, make sure to let me know!
If you have any questions, concerns, or advice for me, feel free to let me know! Now there's a very low chance I will ever make a major edit for this model again. I feel like doing so would ruin the whole “first model” spirit. But if it's something small, I'd be happy to help. Enjoy!
