Threaded Stash Pot, Easy-Open with Ribbed Pattern (Great for Camera Lenses, Drone Accessories etc!)
A very simple threaded container I made for storing some of my smaller camera lenses, they also make great gifts, I have friends using them as little stash pots or to keep their camera/drone accessories even safer in their carrying bags. They are fairly rugged even when printed with weak settings - but they are truly robust, and rugged and will protect whatever is inside in most cases if you print it with 6-10 walls with a 50%+ infill, but this is mostly an ‘overkill’ scenario.
I also use them in dark green colours for carrying around fishing bait (boilies for carp) as well as terminal tackle. Typically, boilies give out quite a strong smell (they're meant to be attractive after all!) and this jar/tub does a really good job at keeping it contained and you can't even really smell anything if you put your nose right up to the threads - I imagine this can be improved by incorporating an o-ring, and would also add an aspect of water resistance for a small period of exposure/time but would be by no means be perfect.
Tested in PLA and PETG. The threads are fairly forgiving and I added quite a bit of tolerance into the parts as it was before owning a Bambu when it was designed, but it has printed great on my X1C in both materials.
Print with the lid facing down; container bottom on the plate/bed.
Simple, easy print. Enjoy!
