Description

The original Rod sloth is a great concept but needed finer adjustments to maximize its utility. The Rod Sloth ultra is superior to it's younger brother. The original Rod sloth failed to provide clearances for the rag to fit in, causing it to not allow the rag to easily clean into the grooves. The original was also needlessly short, was not as easy to handle and has little cleaning capacity before it overwhelms the rag or paper towel with debris. This design has less clamping force than the original, making it easier to pull the paper towel through the device while installed onto the lead screw, thus allowing the user to provide new cleaning surfaces while operating. Furthermore, you can allow the device to bottom out on the lead screw while it is turning to clean the ends of the lead screw well.  Between the increased clearances, more appropriate lower clamping force for cleaning surface feeding and the larger surface area the Rod Sloth Ultra cleans your lead screws much faster and easier compared to it's predecessor. I recommend printing in Petg and printing 3 of them so you can clean all screws simultaneously.
