Lochschneider Record Cutter

This part is intended to enlarge the hole in the center of records. At the moment it goes from 7mm to 38.1mm.

It actually works quite well, the record is not mechanically stressed by the cutting, so it doesn't bend.

In any case, you have to watch your fingers, the blades are very sharp!!

There is not much to say about the assembly, you need

1x M4x25 DIN912 screw (hexagon socket screw)

4x M3x8 DIN912 screw (hexagon socket screw)

2x trapezoidal blade from the hardware store

1x guide rod outer diameter 8mm with M4 thread on the end face (from the known suppliers)

4x melting thread insert M3

The M4x25 screw is screwed in from below through the base, the hole is slightly smaller so that the screw

holds on its own. The guide rod is inserted into the clamp with the thread facing down, it also fits tightly!.

Now melt the 4 thread inserts into the knife holder and mount the two blades with the M3x08 screws

assemble. !!Attention fingers!!

For use, place the record on the base, now screw the clamp with the guide rod onto the thread and the

clamp the record with it. Place the knife holder with the blades facing down and turn slowly until the new hole

is finished cutting.
