Motor Adapter 12x12mm Frame -> 16x19mm Motor

I didn´t have any suitable motors on hand, so i tried to fit my old DJI Snail Propulsion system with 5" props (Dalprop T5045) on the frame.

To make this work, i designed adapters (9mm for the front and 7mm for the back) to get 12mm mounting holes on my DJI motors (16x19mm M3).

Mounting Hardware:

12x M2x4 inserts

8x M2x8 screws (back)

8x M2x10 screws (front)

16x M3x6 screws

I used M2 insert nuts on the side where the motor is mounted.

Make shure you mount the inserts as straight as possible, otherwise you will have a hard time later.

I did that by screwing a M2 screw from the underside into the insert (1,5 turns), so i could adjust it until it cools down.

When everything sits straight you can mount it to the motor with M3 screws (6mm for the 7mm adapter and 8mm for the 9mm one)

Finaly you can mount your motors with M2 screws to the frame (8mm for the 7mm adapter and 10mm for the 9mm one).
