P1S, P1P Fan Flow Duct (Coandă Effect)

Description

Congratulations on finally discovering FunOrNothing :)
There are various discourses on cooling, and there are various existing duct design ideas, but this model was designed with a completely new approach.
All existing designs are focused on how accurately or in which direction the wind blows. This design blows more air with the same fan.
How is that possible?
Have you heard of the Coandă Effect?
This is a fluid dynamics term that refers to the phenomenon in which when there is a flow of a fluid, nearby fluids stick together and are dragged along by the flow, ultimately amplifying the flow of the fluid.

The most common examples are Dyson hair dryers and fans. The wind created by the fan comes out of a thin circular ring, but by following the flow of the wind, a larger wind is generated in the center of the ring.

The fan duct I designed works on the same principle. I made it so that additional air can be drawn in from the outside through the center of a regular duct hole.
This effect ends up blowing out more air than the air sucked in by the fan, and since this air does not usually pass through the fan, it is theoretically cooler. This can ultimately lead to a better cooling effect.
If possible, I recommend printing with a material that can withstand high temperatures, such as ABS or CF
I hope this helps those who want better cooling.

Reporting experimental results #1
Finally, I received the magnets.
I immediately started experimenting and tested the two representative functions for cooling tests, overhang and bridge.
‘S’ is with stock fan duct, ‘P1’ is with my design.
1. Bridge test
I used an appropriate model from Makerworld for the bridge test.

I wouldn't say it's a huge difference, but it looks to me like my design is performing a little better than the stock fan duck.
2. Overhang Test

In the overhang test, the two models differed slightly in print patterns, but it was not enough to say that one was clearly better or worse than the other.
3. Conclusion
Through two tests, I have confirmed that my new design has enough potential, and I plan to further develop it by adjusting the size, location, and direction of the outlet.
