Description
I didn't find a good and tight mounting system for US standard peg board so I made one.
Description:
This would fit US standard peg boards with ¼ to 9/32 inch hole and 1 inch hole spacing from center of hole. The bracket has some tolerances built in so plus or minus 1/64 inch or 0.5mm is fine.
This model is designed specifically for Craftsman CMAF1247 like this one. Craftsman uses the same box for other bits sets such as CMAM2214. This pretty much will fit craftsman 30-50 pieces bits boxes.
How to print:
- This model contains multiple parts, you will need to import the 3mf file to your favorite slicer as A SINGLE PART.
- This model contains built in support. Please DISABLE SUPPORT before generating gcode. Remove the removable support before inserting the bracket into the peg board.
- The tiny fins on the mounting mechanism may break. This is totally normal. This part is a sacrificial part for tolerances. However, if your bracket become excessively loose, please stop using it.
- Print tested working using ABS and PETG. Please do not print this with PLA as the mounting system will be extremely brittle and easy to break.
Print setting I used:
| Layer Height | 0.2mm |
| Brim | Mouse Ear or no brim |
| Support | None |
| Material | PETG/ABS |
| Infill | Gyroid |
| Wall Order | Inside/Outside or Inside/Outside/Inside |
