Description

Battlefield: A Well-Known 3D Printable Game

Battlefield is a popular board game that everyone loves. It’s designed to be printed with PLA, and I recommend using a brim for small parts.

  • Print the 20-pin model and torpedos for marking hits
  • Print the 90-pin model for marking empty locations, using different color.
  • Print the ships in color whatever you like
  • Print the board models

Assembly is easy. You just have to set the board game in a closed position and carefully slide together the connections on the back side. It was designed to open to a 110° angle, making it comfortable to play.

The upper and lower lid is able to hold a 6x2.5mm magnet, so you can take the game with you anywhere.

Gather your friends and family, and have fun strategizing and battling it out on the board!

Hi! How did you manage to print it in two colors? I looked through your models and couldn't find it, could you share this model with me?

snap off 2 fittings but besides that it looks great, I made 2 new ships to play the classic game like I used too.

Do you perhaps have any more files with new ships to share with the community here? I would be happy! Thanks!

Hello, I printed 2 full boards and I can't use them. Please help me what could be the problem. The pins can't be inserted into the board. Hello, I printed 2 full boards and I can't use them. Please help me what could be the problem. The pins can't be inserted into the board. According to the slicer, the holes in the board are 3.6mm and the pins should have a diameter of 3.36mm. And after printing several times, the result: Board hole size : ~3,05mm the pins ~3,2 - 3,3mm I have attached pictures. Green board material is Bambu PLA CF, the gray one was a semi-finished test made of Bambu PLA basic, so the problem was not the choice of material. The pins are accurate as they should be, but the holes on the board are uniformly smaller. Please let me know if you have any ideas what the problem could be. I didn't set anything on the slicer, I just modified the coloring. Thy

My very first suspicion is that the printed line width is no longer the nominal 0.4 mm. Since you mentioned PLA-CF, this is especially suspicious. PLA-CF wears nozzles much faster than normal PLA, which leads to slight over-extrusion and uniformly smaller holes. Other possible causes can be flow being a bit high, line width settings, or slicer hole compensation. The model itself has been printed successfully many times.

Thanks for the tips! The new nozzle has printed about half a roll of CF so far. However, what you wrote may be "slicer hole compensation". Where can I check / set this? Meanwhile, I saw the same problem in the comments below and the spikes fit perfectly when scaled to 92%. But since many people printed it well, I'm looking for the error on my part.

Nice model. I had to reduce the pins to 93% so that they would all fit properly into the game board. I also reworked the boats by removing the small details on top. They are less attractive, but this allows them to be laid flat, without supports, with the pine facing upwards. I'm going to share my profile :-)

fantastic print. quality is 10/10. all the supports came off easily, hinges work as they should and easy to fit if you follow the designers instructions and fit together in the closed position. great game to take away and gets the kids involved rather than spending time on their mobiles. glad to see classic games like this making a come back. great work 👏 👍
