Description

A toy and a box in one! Lovely little spaceship. When in the hands of young ones, it’s sure to be included when you need to fly to the outer space and beyond! 🚀 And on the way it can still contain some candy for the brave astronauts to enjoy on their journey.

Overview

The box is made of 4 different pieces:

  • Box/Body of the rocket
  • Top (the lid to access the candy inside)
  • Window
  • Fins

There is also a toy version that is not a box. That versions needs no assembly - just print and play!

The assembled rocket is 100 mm tall - but if you need a bigger box/toy - simply scale it up in the slicer!

Assembly

This is pretty straight forward:

  1. Print 1 of each element above (and 3 Fins)
  2. Glue the window in to the hole on the side
  3. Glue the tail fins into there slots (depending on your printer tolerances, the window and fins might stay in without glue)
  4. Screw the top lid onto the top

Print instructions

This can be printed with pretty standard settings. There are a few notes to maybe consider though:

  • Orientation: All parts are oriented the best way from the beginning.
  • Supports: Only 1 part needs supports in the box-version - the window. In Bambu Studio, just use default supports and it comes you perfect. In the Toy-version the bottom of the rocket needs supports - just use default supports.
  • Brim: The Fins might benefit from a brim, to help them stay on the bed during printing.
  • Scale: Should print just fine if you scale it up!

Happy printing!
