Description

The game concept here is inspired by the original games Wavelength or Spectrum. For the full experience and high-quality components, I encourage you to consider purchasing the official version!

Wavelength is a party game where two teams compete to guess the position of a hidden target on a spectrum.

Here's a simple guide on how to play:

Setup:

Divide players into two teams.

Place the wavelength device (a circular dial) in the center.

Prepare a set of cards, each displaying a pair of opposing terms (e.g., "Hot" vs. "Cold").

Gameplay:

Teams take turns.

On a team's turn, one member becomes the "Clue Giver."

The Clue Giver draws a card and secretly rotates the dial to reveal the target zone, which remains hidden from others.

Based on the target's position between the two terms, the Clue Giver provides a clue—a word or phrase—that hints at where the target lies on the spectrum.

The Clue Giver's team discusses and decides where to place the indicator on the spectrum, aiming to match the hidden target's position.

Before revealing the target, the opposing team predicts whether the actual target is to the left or right of the indicator.

Scoring:

If the Clue Giver's team places the indicator correctly, they earn points based on proximity to the target.

The opposing team earns a point if their prediction about the target's relative position is correct.

Teams alternate turns.

The first team to reach 10 points wins.
