3D Printing Instructions:
Layer Height 0.2mm
Infill 10-15%
Supports needed around the outside of the ‘bone’ and under peg at the narrow end of the ‘meat’
Outside brim recommended for ‘meat’ part of the print
Basic PLA is the best for this print. Like my other recent pixel style fidgets, I don’t recommend PLA Silk or PLA Matte filaments for this print. It is very detailed (on the inside) and the tolerances are small. I printed several of these in these three types of filaments and Basic PLA always printed the best and had smoother “movement” when done.
Print Plate #1: Pixel Turkey Leg Meat (1 color, brown), supports added for ‘peg’, outside brim (see photo)
Print Plate #2: Pixel Turkey Leg Bone (1 color, white); this piece prints upright so supports added at sides of outside (see photo)
This prints in two parts:(1) the turkey leg ‘meat’ piece and (2) the turkey leg ‘bone’ piece. After printing, slide the 'bone' piece onto the 'meat' piece and you're ready to fidget. If needed, you can secure it with a little super glue.
Have fun printing!!
