Description

Twisted Temple - The adventurous game of twists, turns and traps! To win, be the first explorer to reach the top. The terrifying temple features spinning pathways, perilous pitfalls and danger lurking around every corner. Reach ladders to climb to the next level while avoiding snakes and skulls, and discovering valuable tools and artifacts to help you on the way!

Our family has been having a blast developing and playing this game and we are excited to share it with you. Some of our favorite features in this game are:

•The pathways that spin to change the game with a roll of the dice.

•The entire game rotates to follow your explorer around the board.

• The trap that sends your explorer down a hidden chute and back to the bottom.
• The glowing temple top powered by an LED tea light. Most standard LED tealights fit well.

Although there are many colors used in printing this game, it can be produced with or without an AMS. Use the suggested color scheme or create your own! Here are the filaments shown in the photo:
Temple - Matte dark green
Pathways - Matte desert tan, with matte red and black

Ladders - Basic gold

Players pieces - Basic Blue, Yellow, Orange and Bambu green

Artifacts - Silk copper

Gems - Silk dual midnight blaze

snakes - Green and black

skulls - white and black

Assembly - skulls and ladders will need to be glued onto the temple. I used regular superglue with a fine tip for aiming. There are outlines for the skulls and holes for the ladders for easy placement. Posts will need to be glued to the bottoms of explorers, snakes, and artifacts. The top temple uses a little CA glue as well. Use a little patience and don't glue anything to your fingers like I did!

The suggested rules sheet is included. Feel free to be creative, try it out and make suggestions to improve the game. If you have any questions on gameplay, leave a comment or send me a message. Enjoy the adventure!!

You will have to add your own dice - or better yet find one to 3D print!  Perhaps I will make a custom one soon!

Updates:
11-8: Updated file to resolve all negative shapes for easier STL export
11-9: Made hole in backpack deeper
11-11: Modified Rules:
Rule Change:
Discard unchosen items when you land on them instead of moving them.
Clarified a few things better:
Can't go up a ladder with another explorer there
All spaces resolve immediately for all players.
Boot powers: adds + or - to your die roll, but not the original die roll. Ex. roll a 3, you can move 2 or 4.
Updated some wording.
