Description

Gas Detector v1.0
Monitor your home security smartly!

With Gas Detector, you can monitor the presence of gas and the air temperature, all in a cute plug-and-play flame-shaped device, to simply connect to the electrical outlet!
This is the first version of my Gas Detector: a compact device based on ESP32 that detects the presence of gas in real time and monitors the temperature. Thanks to a gas sensor (MQ2) and a temperature sensor (DHT11), the system immediately warns when it detects gas or a temperature above 65°C, activating an audible alarm that works as an alarm clock to ensure maximum safety especially at night when you normally sleep.

The project includes:
3D printing file (.3mf) to make the container, designed to comfortably accommodate all the electronics and equipped with a Schuko socket for power.
List of components and necessary material.
Circuit diagram and detailed instructions to assemble the system with an ESP32 C3 super mini, a gas sensor and a temperature sensor.

Complete code: no programming knowledge is necessary!
The code is ready to use, just upload the

 (Firmware) to your ESP32.

  1. Simple and functional: ideal even for those with very little experience with electronics, thanks to the very simple circuit, clear instructions and easily available components.
Expandable: the ESP32 C3 super mini is equipped with Wi-Fi.
If the project is liked, I will certainly update the firmware to enable notifications on smartphones via wifi connection, to receive alerts in case of anomalous detections!
Useful: creates a device that monitors the safety of your environment and promptly warns in case of danger.

Whether you are a novice maker or an experienced hobbyist, this project will provide a rewarding way to improve the safety of your home.
Download the files, follow the steps, and make your own Gas Detector!

In the file Instructions_IT.pdf or Instructions_EN.pdf there is all the necessary information and the link to the firmware.
