What to do with used filament spools? It's a real headache. Whether it's paper or plastic, it's a bit wasteful to treat them as garbage, but every time you buy a new one, you get a new spool. Most manufacturers haven't launched sustainable spools like Bambu, so I started with its design and tried to make it as functional as possible. Based on this, a rotatable organizer appeared (no parts other than the printed parts are needed).

If you make it into a desktop organizer, the hollow center can be used as a pen holder. The inside of the spool can be used to hold erasers, staplers, utility knives and other commonly used tools. You can also stick some sticky notes on it and use it as a tea tray,

or you can put it in the living room as a candy dish, or you can put it next to the printer to hold some commonly used glue, scrapers, wrenches and other accessories.

Most filament spool sizes can be used. Through my testing, for example, common filament spools such as esun, ploymaker, elegoo, bambu, kexcelled etc. can be used well.Specific size requirements are that the maximum diameter of the spool does not exceed 20.4cm and the inner diameter of the hollow part is between 5cm and 5.8cm.

Assembly Instructions:

Press the spring into the spool so that it is flush with the spool, then insert the top cover, the bottom cover and the base in turn.

Done!
