Model Inspiration
The inspiration for this 3D printed flowerpot model comes from the Neolithic Dawenkou symmetrical petal-shaped base unearthed at the Dadunzi site in Pixian County.
The Dadunzi site is located in Zhuyuan Village, Sihu Town, Pizhou City, Jiangsu Province, on the border of Jiangsu and Shandong. This is a significant Neolithic site. The Dadunzi site belongs to the same racial type as the Shandong Dawenkou culture. It provides valuable material for studying the characteristics of different periods of Dawenkou culture and their interrelationships.
The symmetrical petal-shaped base from which inspiration was derived is a shining pearl left by the Dawenkou culture in this land.
Design Concept and Creative Direction
When designing this flowerpot model, we replicated the prototype 1:1. The core characteristics are preserved, which can showcase the charm of the Dawenkou culture period. To better integrate the flowerpot into modern living scenes, we carefully considered the color. The selected color is similar to modern home decoration styles. Using PETG printing combines both aesthetics and durability. In this way, a collision between antiques and modern elements is achieved.
Meticulous Design
After repeated sculpting and design adjustments, the model has achieved a perfect balance between aesthetics and practicality. The shape and size of the flowerpot have been carefully planned, suitable for the growth of various plants, and can also serve as a beautiful decoration. Whether placed on the windowsill, desktop indoors, or on the balcony or garden outdoors, it can become a beautiful landscape, adding a unique cultural atmosphere to the space.
Easy to Print
Taking into account the process requirements of 3D printing, the model adopts reasonable parameter settings.
