Description

I dont know about you but my cat can be a menace to the Christmas Tree so I had to have some sort of decoration depicting his epic rivalry with it. I've made two different profiles depending on your access to AMS or not and desired placement.

Profile 1: Color change by layer for people without and AMS (and less waste). It is 4mm thick but also does not have the 90 degree corner mounting support so depending on the flatness of your frame might need help securing with some double sided tape.

Profile 2: Full color for AMS with the added corner support to make mounting easier on the edge and is 4.5mm thicker.

This way you can use it in more places than on a corner. If you need for opposite corner just mirror it.

Hey, I just wanted to say and ask something — yesterday I made a similar model, just a shelf decor, and I realized it looks quite a lot like yours since it’s the same theme. But I noticed my version has a different scarf. A friend told me there’s already one very similar to mine with many downloads, but I didn’t copy yours — I created and improved the sketch myself based on a picture. Can I keep my model up? If not, I’ll delete it.

those printed face down are perfect. this one was a fail

Looks to be like excess filament got caught on the nozzle and wiped off on the model during print. Could be a number of other things, for one example, the diameter of the filament was thicker on a spot and extruded more filament than it should have pressing it into the model then the nozzle dragging over the excess. Maybe a high spot on the build surface down in that corner as well.

perhaps the print bed was not calibrated beforehand? Otherwise, 3D glue always helps, then the print adheres better, but can still be easily removed afterward. 3D glue is available as a spray on Amazon, etc
