Summary

This is a 1:1 life-sized model of the A-10 Warthog's 30mm practice or training round. This is the last in the series of A-10 Warthog rounds that I'll be releasing (unless I missed a variant, if so let me know in the comments). If you search for 30mm A-10 Rounds you'll find all the others.

Filaments used

  • CC3D Silk Antique Gold (Amazon link)
    • Bambu Metal Iridium Gold is a good substitute
  • Bambu Metal Cobalt Blue
  • Matte White

Assembly takes seconds

Simply take the round (bullet) and push it into the top of the casing.  Optionally you can use the provided peg to more securely connect the two together.

Boost Me (for free)

If you enjoy my work and would like to help support my ability to share more (and even better) models in the future, please consider boosting or buying me a coffee at the link below.   Your support is what helps me have enough filament and supplies to do all the print testing required for my models to be high quality and easy to assemble.  It takes a mountain of test prints for each model. Thanks :-)

Here's a link to my Buy Me a Coffee page, thanks for the support!

do you make any projectiles that can be put into spent brass? I have 105mm 40mm 30mm 25mm from an AC130 and 20mm from the F22. I have single color projectiles I printed a while back but I like your color accurate renderings so I’m looking to re print them

Yeah, the latest version of these 30 mm rounds has the full bullet length so they can be put in a casing. The 105mm is also full length so you'd be able to put my model of that in a casing.

Thanks! Yeah PLA metal is my favorite, I have ordered pretty much every type there is because it can make everything look so real. The only one I'm majorly lacking is some sort of army green metallic filament, I can't find anyone that makes a version of that filament that could fit in an AMS.
