Reversi/othello/reversi

This is a unique 8×8 Reversi, also known as othello or reversi. Reversi is a classic strategy game full of strategic fun. The game is played on an 8×8 square board, and both sides hold black and white pieces respectively. At the beginning, four squares in the very center of the board are placed with two black and two white pieces crosswise.

Both sides take turns to place pieces on the board. The rule for placement is that the newly placed piece must sandwich the opponent's pieces. The so-called "sandwich" means that, in the horizontal, vertical or diagonal direction of the board, between the newly placed piece of one's own side and the existing pieces of one's own side, the opponent's pieces are in between them, and there are no blank squares in this direction anymore. When one side finishes placing a piece, the sandwiched opponent's pieces will be flipped to the color of one's own side.

Moreover, our unique model is even more ingenious. It cleverly combines the black and white pieces inside the board. By skillfully flipping the squares of the board, you can easily switch the three states of the pieces. This design is not only novel and unique, but also adds more fun and operability to the game, allowing you to experience the unique fun while enjoying the classic Reversi game.

Tip: To improve the success rate of printing, clean the print bed and apply glue stick to the bed before printing. If the filament is damp, it may cause the hinges to stick, so please ensure the filament is dry.

Printing Tips: As some parts of the model have a small contact surface with the heated bed, they may detach from the heated bed during the printing process. To increase the printing success rate, please clean the printing plate with dish soap and spray glue before printing. Using a low - temperature warming printing plate can significantly enhance the printing success rate.

Feel free to leave a comment if you have any suggestions or questions about the model. When problems occur, please tell apart whether the issue is caused by the model itself, the printer, the filament, or improper operation and installation on your own part. I will block users who blindly attribute printing failures to the model and leave a one-star rating simply because they are unable to troubleshoot and fix problems by themselves. Such behavior greatly undermines the efforts of open-source creators.
