Description

I love my lens hood for my 40mm Summicron from Sqaurehood.se, but sadly they don't have a cap available for it.

My first project with my A1 mini was to make one, and after 2 weeks and a lot of iterations I think it has turned out really nice.

Compact and strong enough to withstand most knocks when out and about.

I recommend printing the black part in PLA for durability and the red parts in PETG for springiness. Initial layer on 0.2mm and other layers on 0.1mm gives me the best result. No support needed.

You can totally print the whole thing in PLA, but the clips aren't as springy.

Assembly is simple: it just snaps together.

Enjoy!
