Description

All credit for this system of cover to toggle switches goes to the original uploader firstgizmo. Big thanks to you, for your model and your share of the step files.

 

I only made changes to accommodate smaller toggle switches like these: Link

 

There are two versions of the cap one turns off the toggle when its down the other doesn't. (Step and STL file)

 

Printing In PETG is adviced specially the spring part.

happy - in case anyone asks, you use the filament itself as the hinge. I dont recall if the description says so. thanks again for a killer usefull design

I was wondering if you could modify the design. I have several switches i want to add this too. However their insert point in bigger than the insert point on your design. The size of your hole is around 3mm but my switches are around 12mm. thanks

I added my own version that fits into 12mm holes. I added your design to 2 of my tools. Love the new look!!

Printed very nice. I "riveted" the filament with a lighter, so it will not slip out. Cheers!

printed it with transparent PETG and rivetted the filaments at rhe hinge great design will be perfect for my project

i did prototype with pla now i will do stronger print with higher infil and abs i will upload new pic with new print. i broke the other piece

Easy to understand assembly and how it works. No from stl file you need to place it yourself.
