Lamp Shade

I printed a lamp shade to replace my broken one. The print came out very well. I was very please how smooth the walls were.

I printed with my Bambu P1P.

My wife wanted the darker shade, therefore that's what is showcased. You can print in any color. I have an earlier lamp shade version that is white, and it's even brighter than my previous shade.

There's a lot of potential for creativity. If you add fuzzy skin, you can give it some real character.

My specific lamp has a plastic nut that locks the lamp shade in place and is completely insulated. Very little heat is in contact with this lamp shade, therefore PLA was a good choice for me. If your lamp shade touches metal or is near the ballast, you may need to print in a higher heat resistant filament.
