Rotring Pencil Lanyard Clip Holder

This is a lanyard clip/holder for the Rotring Drafting Pencils - these pencils are overengineered and very high quality meaning they cost quite a bit for a pencil.

I wanted to have my pencil accessible to me at any moment so I made a neat little holder for it that has a side clip for a lanyard etc.

The standard clip on these pencils are ridiculously strong making them difficult to clip and unclip. They slide easily in and out of this holder.

The clip can fit all Rotring Drafting Pencils mainly designed for the 600-800 series but should theoretically fit any of the older ones with the same hexagonal shape.

You can either just slot the pencil in or use the pencils clip to have a more secure fit as shown in the pictures.
