Milling machine guard/shield removal cover

A small cover that allows the easy removal of the milling guard/shield on the HBM BF25 / OPTImill MH 25PV / Warco WM-18B / Grizzly G0758Z milling machines. The cover normally needs to be closed for the machine to turn on. In my opinion this is always in the way...

With this cover you just unbolt the guard/shield, leave the internal switch connected and screw this cover on. Now your mill will operate normally without the guard/shield.

This cover should be usable on other similar Chinese machines. They are sold by multiple brand such as Optimum, Warco, Grizzly, etc etc.

Cover is designed with some extra clearance in the bolt holes, since sometimes there aren’t tapped properly from the factory. Fusion 360 files attached if you feel the need to make any changes.

Caution! The internal switch has a constant 230V running through it. Disconnect the power before unbolting the guard/shield and installing this cover!!!
