First model uploaded to Makerworld! Boost it and help caffeinate a diligent creator 😄

I've created this model that combines both the northern and southern hemisphere versions on a single plate! I also modified the halter to remove the grid, making it adaptable for both hemispheres. This is for those friends down south who have been on an endless quest for a sundial that suits their latitude. And, of course, for you sundial collectors who are keen to have a complete set and a little side-by-side comparison.

This version is adapted from a model by user_247868325 on MakerWorld (https://makerworld.com/en/models/656068#profileId-583113), and full credit to the original concept and assembly goes to Mojoptix (http://www.mojoptix.com/?p=108).

I gave printing M3 and M4 screws a whirl, but let’s just say my 3D printer and fine resolution weren't exactly on speaking terms. In the end, I opted for some black screws and nuts that fit right in. 4 M4 metal screws (1X50mm and 3X25mm) and optional M4 nuts are perfect for holding everything snugly together.

As Mojoptix’s video puts it:

Gnomonist: a designer of sundials, someone skilled in the science of designing sundials.
Dialist: a maker of sundials, someone skilled in the art of constructing sundials.

So here's to dialists and gnomonists alike – happy sundial-ing!
