This is a bit of a compromise between my staff with extension control buttons and my staff with no extension management.

This staff has end caps that go in place with a part turn.

I've found that working the cap in a bit with pliers may be helpful if the overhangs print a bit sloppy. Otherwise the build is straightforward.
