Simple Self-Watering Planter

This is a simple self-watering planter. It consists of three parts, the shell, an insert and an anti-slip base. You can skip the insert and use the shell as a simple planter if you desire. The anti-slip base is totally optional as well.

Sizes:

There are three different sizes. Feel free to scale them as needed. Keep in mind the walls are only 2.5mm thick so if you do scale them start with the closest size.

• Shell:
  • 4.5x4:
    • 114mm width X 108mm height
  • 6.5x6:
    • 165mm width X 158mm height
  • 8.5x8:
    • 216mm width X 209mm height
• Insert:
  • 4.5x4:
    • 107mm width x 103mm height
  • 6.5x6:
    • 158mm width X 153mm height

  • 8.5x8:

    • 209mm width X 204mm height

     

Printing:

Any filament should work fine, PETG is what I used and recommend though. While these are fairly simply models to print I'd recommend using the included print profiles as I've printed many of these pots without issue using them.

Assembly:

No assembly is required if you choose not to use the anti-slip base.

If you do choose to use the anti-slip base, pick whatever glue you have lying around and attach it to the groove in the bottom of the planter.
