Super simple, portable, and fun V8 engine fidget

As the title says, this print is a super simple, portable, and fun V8 engine toy.

 

Its size is perfect for playing with in your hand, and the overall shape is designed to faithfully replicate an engine
It can be used with one hand and can be picked up and played with at any time.

All mounting holes can be installed using filament inserts
.Alternatively, you can use M2*5 or shorter screws for installation.


I recommend printing with PLA filament because PLA offers higher precision.

 

As shown in the figure, assembly is very, very simple; you just need to place the parts correctly.

It's worth noting that one gear needs to be inserted into a slot, which might be a bit challenging.
 

If you find it running a bit stiff, you can start by inserting a few pistons or none at all to rotate it, and then gradually add the remaining pistons once it moves smoothly.（As shown in the figure below.）

 

I think this surface can be signed with your name or the name of your favorite brand, which can be done in Banmu Studio (I will later create versions with different brand logos, so feel free to mention your favorite brand in the comments).

I hope you have fun with it. If it's not smooth enough, you can do some light sanding, or scale it up to around 105%.
