Description

The adapter is used to connect two AMS to each other. These can be screwed to the existing threads on the AMS.

I have also designed a construction for the existing connection on the riser to position both AMS directly above the printer.

Unfortunately there a several versions of the AMS. Please check your version. I have bought it April 2024 and the other October 2024.

UPDATE 11.11.2024 :

I got some feedback of compatibility problems of the connector. Unfortunately there are several version of the AMS. I will release a v2 after my final test, I had tested it with more then 30 AMS to be ensure that it will work for everybody.

After my successful tests I have uploaded my V2 of my model. Many thanks for the useful feedback 👍

UPDATE 09.12.2024 :

There are old AMS revisions with the 5 columns. I have therefore developed two new versions of my model.
The first one ("DualAMS_BothSideOldVersion.3mf) is for connecting two older AMS(5columns) with each other and the second model ("DualAMS_OneSideOldVersion.3mf) is for connecting one old AMS (5columns) with a new AMS (3 columns).

I was able to draw this with the help of some users. Many thanks for that.
Therefore I would be happy to get feedback if it worked well or if there are still small things to be corrected.
