Description

On a mission to explore the unknown? Well you better be prepared!
What better to take with you on such a mission than a specialty laser pistol?
Introducing the Capper from Team Fortress 2.

It comes equipped with a working trigger, and a small magazine to hold 2 AA batteries (Yes it is up to proper scale, can you believe it?)

!!UPDATE!! The assembly video has been made so watch it!
UPDATE 2:
Added a Red and BLU colour profile as a guide on what should be what colour and hopefully inspire people to make their own coloured versions!
Changed the Main rod to be easier and stronger to print
Disks are now split and should be easier to print aswell.
The tutorial is still the same and you do not need to reprint if you already have printed it before!

Despite its decent size its not that heavy on the amount of filament. I managed to print the one in the pictures on a single P1S plate using ~300 grams of filament. Its divided in such a way that it should be easy to construct and glue. Alonside that its also possible to recreate the colour scheme seen in the game itself without any use of AMS. (i will soon update the pictures with the final colour one and none of those pesky super glue traces, For now i have provided a image with all the parts layed out on a table with their rough positions as to where they have to go. I might make a assembly video if there is any requests for it)
It's important to make sure your printer is calibrated to handle clearances of 0.2mm. This also includes the settings for your filament, otherwise it wont fit properly without the need of sanding or scaling the model.

You are required to use glue! The magazine requires 4 5x2mm round magnets (i know, its hardware and its not prefered) or you can just glue the magazine to the grip and sacrificing the amazing and cool magazine.
The file includes 2 fake AA bateries for the magazine if you dont want to use real AA batteries.

Everything can be printed without AMS while still managing to be able to be multi colour filament.

If there are any issues, feel free to message me about them.

And i hope you can enjoy this model as much as i had fun designing it.
