\A huge thank you to everyone for your downloads, prints, feedback and boost support!/

This is a foldable hook designed by our team, now free for you to print, use and have fun!

About the Hook

When folded, it functions as a regular hook ring, making it easy to carry on a bag, and also serves as a stylish accessory.

When unfolded, it transforms into a hook, allowing you to hang a bag on tables, door panels, railings, and other surfaces.

The hook clasp features a wave design, combining both comfort and functionality.

It might be a bit loose at first(espacially for the 0.4mm ver.), but that's intentional, as after some use, the hook will deform slightly, making the clasp tight.

About the Print (Must Read)

This is a Print-in-Place model, which means it requires a certain level of print accuracy. The 0.2mm tolerance is achievable and has been tested by our A1 mini & P1SC , and hundreds of other users on different printers.

PLEASE CALIBRATE YOUR PRINTER BEFORE PRINTING. If you still can’t achieve the 0.2mm tolerance, try the 0.4mm version. It’s slightly looser and doesn’t feel as premium as the 0.2mm, but at least it can be opened and used.

If even the 0.4mm isn’t working for you, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered. New tolerance test models and videos are on the way to help you calibrate your printer for perfect tolerance.

The default strength is set to 3 wall layers and 30% infill. Which is enough for most daily usage.

There is also a stronger version with 7 wall layers and 70% infill, which will significantly enhance durability (though it will also add some weight).

Please use it only after it has fully cooled down; otherwise, it will be hard to open and may deform.

Update Log (you don't have to read this)

20241101 update

\A huge thank you to everyone for your downloads, prints, feedback and boost support!/

We noticed some feedback indicating that the hinge section was too weak, so we increased its thickness by 0.8mm.
The new version has been tested on the A1 mini.
As an print-in-place structure, this model requires high printing precision, so we recommend calibrating the flow rate before printing. Otherwise, there might be adhesion issues that could cause the hinge section to split.

The clearance tolerance at the connection points of this model is only 0.2mm. Trying to rotate it before it has fully cooled will result in significant resistance and may cause the connection to break. Once fully cooled (for an hour or even overnight), it will offer a very snug and perfect feel!

20241101 update2

It seems that a 0.2mm tolerance for the print-in-place model is too challenging, so we’ve uploaded a version with a 0.4mm tolerance. If you had trouble with the 0.2mm version, feel free to try this one. However, the final result may feel a bit loose compared to the perfect fit of the 0.2mm version.

Print-in-place is a relatively advanced technique, and we’re planning to create some tolerance test models for everyone to use. Stay tuned!

20241102 update

Minor changes to make the hinge stronger, the opening smoother, and include 2 plates with different tolerances in one print file.

There are now two versions: one with a 0.2mm tolerance for a perfect, tight fit. However, if your printer is not fully calibrated, there may be a risk of parts sticking together. For those who can’t achieve a 0.2mm tolerance, try the 0.4mm tolerance version. The 0.4mm ver. aren’t as smooth, but at least it can be opened.

20241103 update

Minor adjustments to eliminate any potential collision risks when opening.

i have the same problem. anybody have any ideas? UPDATE: I finally was able to open it but it took a knife and some force. don’t know if some space would be good on the oposite side of the hinge.

I pushed mine harder until it worked, you might need to print the other version if the filament is too close together

this hook is amazing! I was traveling and there was a bathroom with no purse hooks - I was so happy I had this printed and in my purse before my trip, my purse stayed clean and off the floor!

I didn’t need to tweak any setting and this might actually be the best print quality I’ve seen yet from my printer. .02 file.

The print itself is very good, printed well. In the beginning a little bit hard to open, but it gets better after a few times.

It functions perfectly; just move it slowly once it's finished to release it
