Description

Apex Deathbox Fan art 3D prints

Warm hello to Maker World community, I used Autodesk Inventor to build this 3D model as a fanart for Apex Legend. I have been playing this game for years, not a lot these days but it left some good moments in my memory.

!!! Please do not use for commercial purpose or upload to other platforms !!!

  • All parts are detached prints and needs to glue on
  • Print parts by color can save some filaments
  • Print with less dense support for easier removal
  • Apply glue on the print bed to avoid curly edge
  • Adjust Scale freely to suites your needs

Scaled quite a bit to fit the Bloodhound heirloom and shield cell inside. Added some LEDs and I made the tile for the top (tape to hide GT). 8 plates total after cutting it to fit my P1S at the scale. Thank you for the model! My friend was amazed with the final result. Shield cell here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/810696#profileId-769831 Bloodhound heirloom here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4787800 Top tile: Badges from Etsy and Bloodhound (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6039098)

Hey mate. I didn't save the scale but my x-axis (width) for the bottom of the case was 536mm in total. So you should be able to use that with uniform scale on, get the percentage and apply it to all the pieces. I cut the lid and bottom into 3 pieces each to fit my P1S plate. Tricky part was adding in pin holes to those 6 pieces so that I could make it stronger and not snap apart if it was dropped. Good luck! Share pictures if you end up doing it :)

Scaled it up to 135%, and it worked perfectly—turned out great! Really appreciate the creativity and effort!

can it be used as a carrying case for dice and card games or is the clasp just decorative

Hi IDOGYMNASTICS, thank you for your comment, it looks like the printer did not leveled correctly before printing the model or the print bed was no hot enough to stick the first layer. Try re-level the print bed and do a quick test print before printing out the actual model. Let me know if this helps.

I’m sorry. I printed this on a Bambu A1 Mini and it looks like there is not a profile for this to be printed on the A1 Mini so I suspect that was the issue.

All good! I just saw the message, have you printed it successfully afterwards? I don't have a Bambu printer yet so can't help with the profile ;-; , but for general issues I might be able to help!

I tried painting it to give it a battlefield feel Seeing someone use the hinge below, it seemed better, so I might have to go buy a hinge haha The result is absolutely superb

Made this as a surprise for my spouse. I expected the latch pieces to be fiddlier than they were, but it all came together pretty easily. Thank you for the model.
