LED Lamp Kit (1pcs) - MH001

Description

I've always wanted to make a turbo lamp for my garage that featured a cone filter attached to it properly like it would be in real life. Having come across Sanja 3D's Air Filter Lamp I figured I could make a nice turbo base that utilized his lamp.

Printing the full size turbo, because of the height, will have to be printed on the bigger beds. I did create a separate profile with the turbo cut in half so its just the cold side that fits the A1 Mini bed. This also saves a bunch of material and has a lot less supports. Supports can be annoying to remove as always, but they should come off pretty easy.

Assembly is as easy as dropping the coupler piece over the inlet on the turbo (rough side down, flat size up) and pressing the fully assembled Air Filter lamp inside the inlet of the turbo. You can run the wire down through the middle of the turbo and out the bottom. This gives the Air Filter Lamp the look of being connected to the turbo via a silicon coupler. You could even use TPU for the coupler to make it look more like a silicon hose, only thing it'd be missing is worm clamps.

Grab Sanja 3D's Air Filter Lamp Here. Works great with the Bambu Lab Lamp Kit 001

great idea however the low resolution of the model with low poly count for the curved faces makes the model look not very appealing

is it just a really tight fit? it seems like the square area in the bottom of the filter doesn't allow the filter to go down into the turbo inlet. or am I just really stupid?? haha

I'm not sure what you mean. There is nothing square. The bottom of the filter (im assuming you mean the part the light goes in to) is round? But yes that part fits into the inlet of the turbo

Did you get that from Sanja 3D's model listing? Looks like you used the plate 2 from his LED bases profile. You'll want to use Plate 3 thats for the Bambu Lab LED Lamp Kit 001. You can also get that base from Bambu Labs LED Lamp Kit 001 listing as well. Are you trying to use an LED Strip? If so i can make a base similar without the squared section his has. I was using the LED light from the Bambu Lab kit so thats the base I designed it for. It's no problem to make a base for the a strip led tho

Use the base labeled as "original" the base for the LED Lamp 001 kit light. It latches in to the bottom of the base of Sanja's Lamp. This wont work for his LED Strip bases with the protrusion. To use those bases you'd have to round off that protrusion and add a hole for your wirings to pass through the bottom.

In the end I created the base from scratch to fit better in the turbine as soon as the print finishes if everything is okay I will publish the modification if it can be useful to someone

Would it not be possible to design it somewhat more rounded?
