Allow me to introduce this lovely and charming character, Yananami Anzu, from the anime "Too Many Heroines Who Are Always the Losers." She is known as "Old Eight." A beautiful girl with a bad luck complex, she is a gourmand with a huge appetite. She will be very dejected if she does not have her fill. Only her grandmother who cooks salt-baked lemon can feed her. Her birthday is on November 29th. She is quite popular with boys because of her cute appearance. She is a childhood friend of Hakamada Sousuke, having known him for 12 years. Therefore, she has liked Sousuke since childhood. Because their homes are next door to each other, their parents are also acquainted. When they were about four or five years old, Sousuke promised her that they would get married using a clover. She has kept that promise to herself. Before Sousuke started dating Kiren, she had become close friends with Himmiya Kiren. Even after she was rejected by Sousuke, she continued to maintain her friendship with the two, although her love for Sousuke remained undiminished. She believes that girls are divided into two types: childhood friends and homewreckers (foxes). When she is angry, she privately refers to Kiren as the "Milk Cow Girl." She is very troubled by her relationship with Sousuke and Kiren because she likes one of them while the other is her best friend. No matter what the two do, they want to bring her along, so her feelings are quite complex. She ran into Kazuhiko (the male protagonist) at a family restaurant. She did not have enough money to pay for him, so he paid for her. Since he paid for so much, she offered to make him lunch in return (Anzu makes lunch for Kazuhiko in order to pay back the money she owes him, and Kazuhiko assesses the price of the lunch. He pays the bill using the lunch she makes). Once, when they were eating together, they agreed to split the bill 50-50. However, she did not have enough money again, so the debt that she almost paid off became a long way off. She officially became friends with Kazuhiko on the day of the first-year graduation ceremony. She became an action partner for Kazuhiko, the loser hero. In order to consider Sousuke and Kiren’s feelings, she joined the literary club with Kazuhiko to create a suitable excuse to avoid the two of them. However, she still mentions them from time to time in front of Kazuhiko.

This is a fully assembled girl's figurine that I made for the first time in a long time. This time, overall, it was quite satisfactory.

This model only needs simple color correction to achieve this level!

The hair uses blue filament.

The top uses white filament.

The skirt uses gray filament.

The lower legs use black filament.

The arms, thighs, and head use skin-colored filament.

However, I still haven't found a good solution for the eyes. With my drawing skills, the final effect can only be said to be slightly better than the evil god. It's a long way from being beautiful.

This time, the way I handled the eyes was to directly model the details and then color the protruding details. As a result, with such a small scale and area, I really don't have the experience. The picture is crooked, so the eyes are not very nice. As a character model, eyes are the windows to the soul. Without a pair of beautiful eyes, there will be less of a lively feeling, and no matter how well the rest of the model is made, it will be overshadowed. Perhaps I should continue to delve deeper into the water-transfer decals?

However, I also learned a lot this time. For example, the way to handle hair and head. Of course, this is only a solution for this character. His hair just happens to be able to do this.

Secondly, I found a new solution for making skirts during this production process. When I made Kamisato Ayaka before, her skirt gave me a headache for a long time. The skirt I made in the end still had subtle gaps after slicing, and it couldn't be considered a perfect skirt. However, this time, after my tireless efforts, I made a skirt that I'm quite satisfied with! The pleats of the pleated skirt are preserved, the print is smooth, and it doesn't interfere with the legs.

In addition, during the printing process of this model, I encountered many problems with supports collapsing or flipping over. After repeatedly adjusting the parameters without success, I used the final solution! Base plate glue.

Takuzu has two kinds of glue, solid glue and liquid glue. The price is also twice as much. Either one should work, right?

In addition, I used a new tool this time, color powder!

The main purpose of color powder is to give the character some shadows, like blushing cheeks. It’s an inconspicuous detail, but with just the addition of these shadow areas, the whole model becomes much more three-dimensional, and the details feel much richer!

As for the brand of color powder, I use Tamiya color powder. Gunze Sangyo's color powder also has good value for money, but the style I wanted was out of stock. In addition, color powder can be used for aging treatment on mechanical models. It is not just for model figurines!

Finally, I hope you enjoy this model!
