About this model:
The original model Ryan Q created was designed for TPU. I wanted to cut a lot of weight out of the design as TPU is heavy. This model has been designed for PLA Aero specifically and for the HDZero AIO5 board with the Lux camera. All modifications were designed to enhance the rigidity while keeping it super light and to mount super cleanly.
Modifications:
Ryan's mounting holes were intentionally not true as it was designed to stretch into position. The holes are now an exact 25.5 x 25.5. I relocated one of the arms and offset the mount to make room for the firmware update connector. I added beef to the arms and A frames and cut out the cross bar, removed material from the cameras cradle, added snaps to hold the camera in. Deleted the camera catches / holds in the rear as those were designed to stretch when installing the camera. I needed a new solution. Cut out much of the bottom of the camera barrel area to save weight, and to allow for printing without the use of supports. Finally, a cutaway was added for the wires on the left / driver side. This mount is specifically designed to work with the HDZero AIO5 board in its default orientation. It is designed to lay flat, while the original was designed to flex over the board's components, this one fits perfectly around an on the components and wires. It weighs between .41 and .42 grams. It is probably the lightest rigid canopy for this camera while being quite tough.
