Description
This file is a one to one replica of the VEX V5 license plates with modifications to the mounting holes to accommodate a 3D printer with a 0.4mm or 0.6mm nozzle.
How to use this file:
- Download the .step or .f3d and open it in a CAD program of your choice (Fusion 360 is shown in the attached images)
- Edit the sketch labeled text:
- Type in your team number:
- Click on “Finish sketch”
- Extrude the text to the height of the license plate by selecting the sketch profiles and the top edge of the plate:
- Export to STL:
- Open in a slicer of your choice (PrusaSlicer is shown)
- Slice and set color change at layer height:
- Export GCODE.
