iPod Classic 5G (80GB+) Case - MagSafe Edition

Unlike my previous versions, this is a case for the fifth-generation iPod Classic that, like most smartphone cases, allows the iPod to be simply pressed in from the front. Additionally, this case features a cutout for a MagSafe ring, allowing you to use most MagSafe-compatible holders (no charging function, of course). You can simply use one of the inexpensive metal rings that can be purchased, for example, on AliExpress.

WARNING! Only use this case's MagSafe feature (magnet!) with flash-modded iPods. iPods with original hard drives may be damaged by the magnet!

Print instructions:

• Print the case lying flat on its back with supports (I used tree supports for this). Ensure that no supports are attached to the thin part of the MagSafe ring cutout, as it could be damaged when removing them.
• 15% Gyroid infill
• 0.2mm layer height (or less)

Assembly:

• Glue the MagSafe ring into the cutout
• Carefully press the iPod into the case
